Description

Lucid Void is an instrumental psych-/krautrockband from Germany. By interweaving dreamy melodies with expressive riffs and driving, jazzy rhythms they create soundscapes that range from euphoric peaks to deep valleys.

In the last two years they played alongside some of the greatest representatives of the Stoner Rock scene like: Brant Bjork, Colour Haze, My Sleeping Karma, The Machine and Weedpecker.

In 2017 Lucid Void won the jury prize as well as the public vote at the "Hanauer Newcomer Contest-Hoffnungsträger". In the following year the band was part of the jury.

After Lucid Void played a show at Schlachthof Wiesbaden, Volker Fröhmer from Rockblog.Bluesspot wrote: "This is and will be a perspective band (I can not think of any other expression) for "our" scene, I'm sure." (rockblog.bluesspot.com, Volker Fröhmer, 28.05.2018)

Lucid Void was founded in 2015 by guitarist Jakob Schuck and drummer Max Hübner. Since 2016 they play in their current formation with Bela Nitsch on bass and Samba Gueye on electric piano and organ. Their debut EP "SAAT" was released on May 30, 2020 at "Fat And Holy Records" in form of a 12'' vinyl record, limited to 300 pieces. It was recorded by Max Hübner in Alzenau and mixed and mastered by Rene Hofmann (Wight) at "Wasted Life Studio" in Darmstadt.

Vinyl is limited to 300 copies.
