The extended jams that shape the band's concerts give way to a more precise, technical approach on this album. Already on the cover, which, like the cover for Module 12 was designed by Anton Ohlow, there is a tendency towards clarity. This runs seamlessly from the creative to the tonal level. The album was recorded, like the band's last LP (Dick Fehler Studio Treffen I, Dronerock Records 2020) by Hanno Janßen in the Dickehler Studio in East Friesland. In a similar way to how a space telescope functions as a technical extension of the eye, which makes things visible and focuses the gaze, the transparent, balanced studio recording works for the ear. Nothing is lost, everything is there and even after several listening sessions there is still a previously overheard detail to be discovered in the sound cosmos.
