Description
Since 2018, the group has performed various concerts, highlighting the performances at the Woodstaco festivals, Space Trip Fest and the opening show for the Austrian band Porn To Hula, in what was the start of their South American tour. With all the experience of live performances under their arms, The Polvos entered the Bym Records studio in Santiago to record "Darkness Emotion", their first full-length album.
The recording and mixing was in charge of Ness Rodríguez (The Ganjas, Wild Parade), while the mastering was done by Rodrigo Gomberoff (Familea Miranda) at Hukot Estudios, Barcelona. From that album comes the single "Elephant", a song inspired by Gus Van Sant's film of the same name and which addresses the student massacre at the Columbine Institute in Colorado, United States.
This release of the band comes to crown a season of many important achievements for The Polvos. His music has been featured in various international media and constantly sounded on specialized programs such as Downtown Radio Tucson (Mickmaster's Space Rock Spectacular) in Arizona, USA and Cosmic Fuzz Radio in London, England, among many others.
