So it's no surprise that in the 21st century you have a band like PETH come along and start making some big 70s Texas noise! Born in the middle of the 2020 pandemic these 4 native Texans have been doin all the beer drinking and hell raisin you could want on stage with an electrifying mix of early 70s proto metal and occult rock/Stoner sound matched to that of early Black Sabbath, Scorpions, Medusa, Venom, Blue Cheer, Pentagram, ZZ Top etc. with evil guitarmonies (what they call guitar harmonies) explosive trucking bass and drum section and two knock out vocalist they truly help preserve some spirit of Texas's old way of life while helping usher in this new era of Rock n Roll for generations to follow.
"Merchant of Death" is almost like a hidden gem of the 70s/80s Metal invasion but in the 21st century, with heavy hitting riff after riff ebectricrifying vocals and pounding drum and bass this albums is sure to please any metal head and their daddy.
