Fuzz Sagrado is the new psychedelic rock project of the creative head of Samsara Blues Experiment, Chris Peters, who not only plays guitar and sings here, but also takes care of all the other instruments. "Luz e Sombra" (Light and Shadow) is the second album in two years after its predecessor "A New Dimension" from 2022. The music can be seen as a continuation of Peters' work with SBE, in some ways the new album seems to tie in very well with SBE's "End Of Forever" as there are some longer 70's influenced prog pieces alongside shorter grunge era style songs. Although the production is more direct and Fuzz Sagrado is, of course, a different project with even more diverse influences than SBE, Samsara fans should find some familiarity here. But also fans of well-written psychedelic rock with influences from the late 60s to today should definitely give this a listen! For fans of: Samsara Blues Experiment, Kingston Wall, Jimi Hendrix, Nirvana, The Verve, The Moody Blues, Pink Floyd.
